Overview
The Hub is your home base in Calliope. It’s where you log in, launch tools, manage your workspace, and access all platform features. Think of it as your personalized dashboard that connects you to everything Calliope offers.
What You Can Do
Launch Tools
From the Hub, access all Calliope tools with a single click:

Manage Your Workspace
Your workspace is your persistent storage area:
- Files persist between sessions
- Share files across all Calliope tools
- Upload and download data easily
- Organize projects in folders
Access Your Sessions
- View active tool sessions
- Return to running workspaces
- Start new sessions as needed
Getting Started
Logging In
- Go to your Calliope Hub URL
- Sign in with your credentials
- You’ll land on your Hub dashboard
Launching a Tool
- From the Hub dashboard, find the tool you want
- Click to launch
- The tool opens in your browser
- Your workspace files are automatically available
Returning to the Hub
From any tool, you can return to the Hub:
- Click the Hub link in the navigation
- Or navigate directly to your Hub URL
Workspace Features
File Management
Your Hub workspace includes:
- Home directory: Your personal file storage
- Shared folders: Team collaboration spaces (if enabled)
- Project folders: Organize work by project
Session Management
The Hub tracks your active sessions:
- See which tools are currently running
- Access running sessions directly
- Start fresh sessions when needed
For Teams
Shared Workspaces
Teams can share workspaces for collaboration:
- Common file storage
- Shared datasource connections
- Collaborative projects
User Management
Administrators can manage team access:
- Add and remove users
- Set permissions
