Platform Access

How to access and navigate the Calliope AI platform.

Web Access

Calliope AI runs entirely in your browser—no downloads or installations required.

  1. Navigate to your Calliope Hub URL
  2. Sign in with your credentials
  3. Access all tools from the Hub dashboard

Supported Browsers

  • Chrome (recommended)
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Edge

The Hub Dashboard

After logging in, you’ll see the Hub—your central workspace:

  • Tool launchers - Click to open Lab, IDE, Chat, etc.
  • Recent files - Quick access to your work
  • Session status - See running sessions

Launching Tools

From the Hub, click any tool to launch it:

Your Workspace

All tools share a common workspace:

  • Persistent storage - Files stay between sessions
  • Shared access - Open the same files from any tool
  • Automatic sync - Changes appear instantly

Mobile Access

Calliope works on tablets:

  • iPad and Android tablets provide full functionality
  • Mobile phones work for viewing but editing is limited

Authentication

Logging In

Use your organization’s SSO or direct credentials.

Session Management

  • Sessions remain active while you’re working
  • Inactive sessions may time out
  • Return to Hub to resume work

Security

  • HTTPS encryption for all connections
  • Sessions tied to your account
  • Activity logging available

Multiple Sessions

You can have multiple tools open simultaneously:

  • Lab notebook in one tab
  • IDE editor in another
  • Chat in a third

All share the same workspace files.

Getting Help

If you have access issues:

  1. Check your network connection
  2. Try refreshing the browser
  3. Clear browser cache if needed
  4. Contact your administrator
